The first is the release of my latest hardcover monograph, NORTH STAR. It is hot off the press and ready for a good home-yours! If you're in New York, take part in the 25th anniversary celebration of Reflections in Black: A History of Black Photographers 1840 to the Present exhibition and publication. Further afield, if you're in Sweden, the monumental When We See Us exhibition is at the Liljevalchs Konsthall.
NORTH STAR
Published by Gregory R. Miller & Co.
North Star is a major new publication that explores notions of boundlessness and brings together more than five years of work, including large-scale watercolor paintings, video installations, ceramic sculpture, a short film, and excerpts from the two-day “Conversations on Boundlessness” symposium commissioned by Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. This publication was made possible by the generous support of the Mellon Foundation.
